Atlas 2 engages students through fascinating and detailed geothemes and provides opportunities for them to find out more from case studies included throughout the atlas.  Students are encouraged to explore more detailed maps using advanced understandings of grid references, scale, direction and distance. Exploring the world through a wider range of geothemes and maps, students uncover basic spatial patterns that lead to early understandings of the natural and human processes that define the world we live in.
